3-SVK CROSS THE RUSHING RIVER

Getting back to nature leads us to a better understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. The experiment “Cross the Rushing River” wants to invite its participants to create a community of friendship, prayer, and service in the simplicity of a Jesuit cottage at the edge of the Slovak Paradise National Park. To cross means to go beyond the rush, to stand still, to live in admiration. The nearby river Hornád will teach us how to cross the boundaries between nature and different cultures, between sacredness and ordinary life, to become more human and more attentive to God’s creatures.
